From Feature Factory to an Outcome-Driven Product Team

For many organizations, transitioning from “output-focused” product teams (often called “feature factories”) to “outcome-focused” teams is crucial. These outcome-focused teams aim to deliver real value to businesses and their customers. However, many organizations still rely heavily on Gantt charts, extensive feature lists posing as “product strategy”, and a relentless focus on deadlines and deliverables.

In this webinar, renowned product leader Matt LeMay will discuss common obstacles to creating an outcome-focused product team and offer practical, actionable advice to overcome them quickly and effectively. You’ll learn:

– How to view outcomes and output as an interconnected system rather than a zero-sum choice
– Why being more specific about outcomes can allow greater flexibility in output
– How product managers who often criticize “feature factories” can sometimes perpetuate this issue themselves
